Affinity Travels is a premium Canadian travel agency specializing in curating personalized, handcrafted travel experiences across the world. From adventure expeditions to luxury cruises, cultural immersions to wildlife safaris — Affinity Travels offers their clients a truly unique way to explore the globe.

They approached Dot Com Inventions with a vision to build a fully custom travel platform from the ground up — one that could showcase their diverse travel experiences, allow users to build personalized itineraries, and deliver a booking journey as memorable as the trips themselves.

What Did DCI Do

DCI delivered a complete end-to-end travel platform for Affinity Travels — from user-focused design to high-performance development — tailored to showcase their global travel experiences and streamline the booking journey.

We created a seamless digital experience that allows users to explore destinations, build personalized itineraries, and book trips effortlessly, ensuring a smooth and engaging customer journey.

Custom Web Platform Development We designed and developed a fully custom web application for Affinity Travels — built with a robust backend and an elegant, intuitive frontend. The platform supports user registration, login, experience browsing, and personalized itinerary management.

Curation Wizard Tool One of the most innovative features we built is the Curation Wizard — an interactive tool that lets users select their travel preferences, interests, and budget to receive a fully customized travel experience recommendation. This tool sets Affinity Travels apart from every competitor in the market.

Create Your Own Itinerary Feature We developed a "Create Your Own" module allowing users to hand-pick destinations, experiences, and dates to build a fully bespoke travel plan — giving clients complete control over their journey.

Experience Category Pages We built dedicated, visually rich pages for each travel category including Adventure, Cultural, Gastronomy, Wildlife/Nature, and Cruises — each with immersive imagery and detailed experience descriptions.
