At Dot Com Inventions, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital solutions and IT services that meet and exceed client expectations. We understand that circumstances can change, and we aim to handle all refund requests with fairness, transparency, and professionalism.

Please read this Refund Policy carefully before purchasing any of our services. By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Refund Eligibility

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the service, the stage of the project, and the reason for the request. The following general conditions apply:

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]
  • Requests must include your project reference number, invoice number, and a clear reason for the refund
  • All refund requests must be made within 14 calendar days of the payment date
  • Refunds will not be processed for work already delivered, approved, or signed off by the client

2. Service-Specific Refund Terms

Website & Software Development
  • Before project kickoff: A full refund is available if the project has not yet been initiated and no discovery or planning work has begun.
  • After kickoff but before delivery: A partial refund may be issued based on the percentage of work remaining. Any work completed up to the point of cancellation will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • After delivery or milestone approval: No refund will be issued once a deliverable has been reviewed and approved by the client. Approved milestones are considered final.
  • Custom development work is non-refundable once development has commenced, as resources and time have been allocated specifically to your project.
Digital Marketing Services (SEO, Social Media, Advertising)
  • Monthly retainer services are non-refundable once the service period has commenced, as campaign setup, research, and execution begin immediately.
  • If you cancel before the billing cycle begins, a full refund will be issued.
  • Partial month refunds are not available for ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Results from digital marketing campaigns are subject to market variables and are not guaranteed. Non-achievement of results does not qualify as grounds for a refund.
Mobile App Development
  • Same terms as website and software development apply.
  • App store submission fees, third-party API costs, and licensing fees are strictly non-refundable once incurred.
AI Solutions & Automation
  • Due to the highly customized and resource-intensive nature of AI projects, payments made after the discovery and scoping phase are non-refundable.
  • If the project is cancelled before the scoping phase is completed, a partial refund will be issued after deducting hours already spent.
Graphic Design & Video Production
  • Before work begins: Full refund available.
  • After initial concepts are shared: A 50% refund may be issued.
  • After revisions or final delivery: No refund is available as creative work has been completed and delivered.
Consultation & Strategy Services
  • Paid consultation sessions are non-refundable once the session has taken place.
  • If a session is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable.
Hosting & Domain Services
  • Domain registration fees are strictly non-refundable once the domain has been registered with the registry provider.
  • Hosting fees are non-refundable once the service has been activated and provisioned.
  • If a hosting plan is cancelled within 24 hours of purchase and no files or databases have been set up, a full refund may be requested.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Third-party software licenses, plugins, or tools purchased on your behalf
  • Domain registration and renewal fees
  • Ad spend or platform fees paid to Google, Meta, or other advertising networks
  • Work completed and approved at any project milestone
  • Rush delivery or priority handling fees
  • Any service where the client has already received and used the deliverable

4. Project Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel an ongoing project, the following process applies:

  1. Submit a written cancellation notice to [email protected]
  2. Our project manager will schedule a cancellation review call within 2 business days
  3. All work completed up to the cancellation date will be documented and invoiced
  4. Any amount paid in excess of the work completed will be refunded within 10 business days
  5. All project files and assets completed to date will be delivered to the client upon settlement

5. Disputed Charges

If you believe a charge has been made in error, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with the following details:

  • Full name and company name
  • Invoice or transaction reference number
  • Date and amount of the charge
  • Description of the dispute

We will investigate all disputes within 5 business days and provide a written resolution. We strongly encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card provider, as this allows us to resolve the matter quickly and amicably.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
  • International transfer fees, currency conversion fees, or bank charges are the responsibility of the client and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable
  • Dot Com Inventions reserves the right to issue refunds as account credits for future services in lieu of monetary refund, subject to client agreement

7. Amendments to This Policy

Dot Com Inventions reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
